Tuesday 16th October - Yeah!!

Breakfast
Stewed Peas, chicken and one hops bread
Diet coke

Snack
Half orange
One apple

Lunch
Lamb sensations fresh express wrap -330 kcals ( YUCK!!)
Water

Snack
Five ole chips
Water

Dinner
One packet of roasted peanuts

Physical activity
1 ½ hour Aerobics
½ hour weight training

Comments: FINALLY a day free from high sugar foods I feel so accomplished!!!!, I also had some vegetables in the fresh express. Celia bought me a pack of ole because she wanted company to eat hers.I didn’t have the entire packet ate those five and took the rest home and stored it. Physical activity was great as well… today was a proud day.

I swear by the South Beach Diet, you should take a read and try that. It takes a bit of self control for the first two weeks but its not about denying yourself food or even things you like.You can check my blog for more info , I have a post about it.Or just bythe book, its not too expensive

I will have a look at it but I am looking at changing my eating habits in general and not following a particular diet for a particular time. I will have post about soon.

I get you, the thing I like about South Beach is that it has stages so it trains you to change your eating habits. Phase 1 cuts out bad carbs (not all carbs) and sugars, phase 2 reintroduces some of them into your diet and phase 3 is after you have reached your target weighta nd just mainatining. It does not restrict you from eating at any time, just tells you what is good to eat and what is bad in terms of the glycemic index. I lost 7 pounds in under two weeks and was eating 5 times a day, zero exercise.

Ahm what is the chicken and peas first thing in the morning so? that is wierd.

And you lacking on the dinner there too.

the only diet I've ever done is the weight watchers- you get to eat what you want, its just the choices you make. that is a next change your habits one too. I love my food way too much to not eat certain things. cause is when you deny yourself is when things go drastically wrong.

And your dinner seem to be lacking too.

Weight Watcher you get to eat whatever you want. You get points to spend daily according to age, weight and sex. That is the only diet I've ever done. It encourages you to change your habits and portion sizes. It goes by cals & sat fats.
Don't deny yourself completely of your fav things or else things go wrong, drastically wrong!

Girl I does eat my lunch for breakfast sometimes..lol because i just lazy to take it with me or just for food safety reasons. Plus we stew at home with out added fat and we remove the skin and fat gobules from all our meats.

I am just trying to manage my craving for sugar because if you give me the chance all I will eat for the day will be sweet and i would be quite contented mind u eh!

Oh yeah I also sometimes try to eat in an upside down food pyramid , have the heavy meals earlier in the day so that Ihave more time to use the kcals.

I do that just today, so busy since morning, I only had time bathe rush out the house, come back and make lunch of which I didn't have any. I lie I picked at some of the veggies. ( did some tortillas wraps for my son) then I had to rush straight back out.

I did grab some healthy snacks on the way out. A bag of Ryvita minis, a cereal bar, and a bag of Rice bite snack things. The time I actually ate was about 2pm. And not again till about 8 when I reach home.

Generally I only have one heavy meal a day. I alternate if it will be lunch or dinner. But I try to eat dinner early between 5-7. On days I do my martial arts it would be 4-5 eating dinner.

And as we speak, bag of rice bites for my salty, and a maple cereal bag as the sweet.
I have to do both, not just the sweet LOL.

Be careful with cereal bars gyal sometimes they are high in sugar, u doing martial arts? adult classes? Let me know I am interested. I am trying to eat dinner before 6 but with the gym, when i get home sometimes I sharking hungry!! I does have a real small snack but then sometimes I does BINGE!!.
